Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a control systems engineer to design and execute control functions for US and select Americas cryogenic liquid trailer filling projects. You will lead architecture, I/O layout, networking, programming, documentation, and interfaces.

You will provide commissioning support, implement cost-effective control strategies, and continuously seek efficiency improvements across the filling system. Travel up to 25% supported by company.

Qualifications

• BS or licensure with five years of experience; PE preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% per year domestically or in the Americas.
• Knowledge of P&ID diagrams, schematic wiring, ISA hardware symbols, I/O distribution, PLC configuration, MS Office.
• Rockwell PLC/ControlLogix programming and GE iFIX HMI/SCADA development recommended.
• IEC 61131 languages including Ladder, Function Block Diagram and Structured Text recommended.
• Siemens PCS7, Visual Basic and networking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute control system functions for US and select Americas projects.
• Lead architecture design, I/O layout, networking, programming and documentation.
• Provide control system support during commissioning and startup.
• Implement cost-effective filling control strategies across systems.
• Seek continuous efficiency and technical improvements in filling systems.
• Interface with customers and suppliers; estimate engineering hours and hardware costs for projects and proposals.
