Job summary

UAB Medicine invites qualified CRNAs to join the Division of Community Anesthesia in Birmingham. You will coordinate anesthesia services under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures, participate in clinical instruction, and act as a clinical resource for staff and students.

The role provides opportunities to practice in a high-volume academic environment at UAB St. Vincent’s facilities, with autonomy and strong collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by coordinating anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
• Leads clinical instruction and mentors nurse anesthesia students.
• Acts as a clinical resource and ensures safety across cases.
