Job summary

Ascent, LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager for the Burn In Lab in Irving, TX. You will oversee on-site field coordination and manage a 24x7 operations team responsible for data center uptime and equipment reliability.

The role requires a BS or technical degree in mechanical/electrical fields and 5+ years in facility management. You will drive preventative maintenance, manage vendors, and develop change-control procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Critical Facilities Manager or similar role.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, life safety, mechanical, plumbing, and power systems.
• Electrical/HVAC certifications preferred.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead coordination meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office and data center management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field coordination supervision and project management for DC operations.
• Effectively manage a 24x7 site operations team of technical and administrative staff.
• Manage mission critical equipment used to operate and maintain the data center.
• Oversee building systems and environments: life safety, mechanical, plumbing, power.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and ensure proper maintenance services.
• Develop and implement Change Control Program and SOPs; on-call support.
