Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hopkinsville, KY seeks a Crisis Therapist II Shift Lead to provide advanced clinical assessment and stabilization for behavioral health crises, while leading on-duty teams across shifts.

This role delivers trauma-informed care, supports crisis staff, and ensures safe transitions across the continuum of care; 24/7 availability and on-call rotation are required. Master’s degree and Kentucky licensure are required; sign-on bonuses offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted independent licensure in Kentucky as LCSW/LPCC/LMFT/Psychologist or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to independently conduct clinical and risk assessments and provide crisis intervention.
• Strong clinical leadership, consultation, and real-time support to crisis staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical interviews, psychosocial assessments, and risk assessments to determine safety, acuity, and level of care needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services including de-escalation, safety planning, brief individual or group interventions, and short-term stabilization.
• Serve as the clinical lead on assigned shifts, providing real-time consultation and decision support to crisis staff.
• Assist with triage, prioritization, and assignment of cases to ensure timely response and appropriate workload distribution.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
