Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting an experienced CREO CAD Drafter for a 12-month contract supporting the Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls, ID. Work status is remote with occasional travel to Idaho Falls.

Plan, lay out, prepare, revise, and check drawings using CREO, AutoCAD, and related CAD tools, applying GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and ANSI/ASME standards. Requires Associate degree and a minimum of 7 years drafting experience, with at least 3 years on Creo; U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or vocational certificate in drafting/design, CAD, or engineering technology.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, including checking/red-lining the work of other drafters or serving in a lead drafter capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using Creo.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI/ASME Y14 drafting standards and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex drawings in 2D/3D including GD&T.
• Assist in determining drawing elements, dimensions, tolerances, and design parameters.
• Mentor less experienced drafters and check deliverables.
• Maintain CAD standards and PDM/PLM usage.
• Provide field/as-building documentation support.
