Job summary

Ingram Marine Group is seeking a Crane Operator in the Ashland City, TN area to safely operate friction cranes and material handlers at a river terminal. The role includes mentoring and training other operators, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring compliant, efficient cargo handling.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of crane operation experience, High School diploma or GED, and certification for First Aid & CPR. Outdoor, fast-paced work with PPE is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience operating friction cranes and material handlers, preferably in a river terminal or maritime environment.
• Proven knowledge of crane safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in outdoor, fast-paced conditions and coordinate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate friction cranes and material handlers to load/unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Train and mentor other crane operators and terminal staff on crane operations.
• Assist in onboarding new operators and evaluating competency.
• Maintain equipment inspection records and report malfunctions.
• Ensure cargo is secured and properly staged for transport or storage.
