Job summary

Ingram Marine Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Ashland City, TN area. The role centers on safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store cargo at the river terminal, ensuring efficiency and strict safety adherence.

You will assist with vessel, truck, and rail car cargo handling, monitor equipment, and maintain clean, organized work areas. Weekend/holiday flexibility and PPE usage are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse, dock, or terminal environment is a plus.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate up to a 16k forklift to move and stack cargo in the terminal yard.
• Assist in loading/unloading cargo from vessels, trucks, and rail cars.
• Maintain and monitor terminal equipment and report issues.
• Ensure cargo is secured and organized for transport or storage.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Communicate with supervisors and vessel crew for smooth operations.
