Job summary

Ingram Marine Group in Ashland City, TN is seeking a Crane Operator to safely operate friction cranes and material handlers at our river terminal. This role reports to the terminal leadership and plays a key part in efficient cargo movement and equipment maintenance.

You will train other operators, mentor staff, assist with loading/unloading cargo, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining inventory and coordinating with vessel crews.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 4-5 Years experience as a Crane Operator.
• Certification Required: First Aid & CPR.

Responsibilities

• Operate friction cranes and material handlers to load/unload cargo safely.
• Train other personnel in crane operations and equipment handling.
• Mentor and coach crane operators and terminal associates.
• Assist management with onboarding new operators and evaluating competency.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report malfunctions.
• Ensure cargo is secured and proper workflow maintained.
• Maintain clean, organized dock and terminal areas.
