Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

• Arizona residents must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License upon hire and within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enforces court security procedures and coordinates with court security officers.
• Acts as liaison between JP Court Justices, Court Supervisor and Court Security Supervisor.
• Assigns tasks and observes activities of court security officers.
• May participate in recruitment, training and documentation of staff.
• Trains new and existing staff; provides mentoring and feedback.
• Responds to incidents, investigates and identifies resolutions with supervisor escalation.
• Develops and coordinates security officer training requirements.
• May act in supervisor's absence.
• Maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and county information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
