Job summary

Labcorp in Renton, WA is seeking a Lead Courier to join our logistics team. This role covers route coverage, dispatch support, and on-route training, with a schedule Mon-Fri 7am-6pm and potential for additional shifts.

Responsibilities include loading daily picks, delivering to the branch, safely handling specimens, and using handheld devices to manage routes. A valid license and clean driving record are required; 21+ and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• No experience or education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months or more previous driver/courier experience.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Very punctual with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a floater for the logistics team providing coverage for routes.
• Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers.
• Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed.
• Load all necessary suppliers for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed.
