Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers provides lumber and building materials across Texas and Oklahoma. The Counter Sales Lead directs a team of Counter Sales Representatives, assists customers, processes orders, and handles payments while maintaining showroom appearance.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, providing quotes, coordinating deliveries, training staff, and managing invoices and inventory.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Proficient with cash handling and basic math.
• Able to operate a calculator and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with questions, pricing, and promotions.
• Process sales and accept payment by various methods per procedures.
• Provide initial responses to product inquiries and quotes; assist with orders, deliveries and installations scheduling.
• Maintain showroom appearance and organize stock on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Direct day-to-day activities of up to eight associates; mentor and train Counter Sales Representatives.
