Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Lead Counter Sales Associate in California. You will deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in, phone, and will call customers while managing orders and coordinating delivery schedules.

The role includes training new counter staff, acting as liaison between customers and supervisors, and identifying upsell opportunities to promote related products and promotions.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in customer service, selling or related field.
• Experience using sales order computer software, familiarity with Oracle.
• Knowledge in White Cap product lines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to our walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
• Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery and updates customers on order status.
• Serves as point of contact for escalation issues.
• Provides training and support to new counter staff.
• Acts as liaison between supervisor and customers.
• Ensures purchase orders are completed.
• Upsells by identifying related products, add-on extensions and making customers aware of product promotions.
• Ensures merchandise displays are stocked and clean.
• Generally, has 7+ years of experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
