To see our fill list of Team Member Benefits please visit our career site: https://www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits**Job Description:**Under the direction of the Count Room Manager, incumbent, is responsible for the collection, sorting, counting and recording of gaming results and, in the absence of the Count Room Manager, the overall operation and maintenance of the Count Room and currency counting equipment. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including governmental reporting. Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in the development and continual improvement of count room operational procedures. Work with the Count Room Manager to develop drop schedules and routes that result in the most efficient collection of drop boxes Assist with ensuring adequate inventories of all operational supplies. Interact with vendors and members of other departments in a professional manner on the phone, via email and in person Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training and coaching. Work with team members to assist in their personal and professional growth which will result in an effective management succession process. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. Ensure appropriate staffing levels to best manage labor costs. Stay abreast of the current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and team members as appropriate. Maintain a safe, professional, and positive work atmosphere.
