Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa seeks a Lead – Count Room to supervise the drop and count processes across gaming areas and to ensure the integrity of currency handling and reporting.

In the absence of the Count Room Supervisor, the Lead provides leadership to oversee daily operations and uphold internal control standards, working with the count room team to maintain compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in count room operations, cash handling, or auditing.
• At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role within a secure, high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of count room procedures, internal controls, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in operating count room equipment such as currency counters and coin sorters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drop and count processes and ensure accuracy of currency handling.
• Supervise count room staff and coordinate with surveillance and audit teams.
• Maintain compliance with Gaming Commission laws, internal controls, and company policies.
• Count currency from various sources and prepare accurate reporting.
