Job summary

NC State University’s Counseling Services seeks a Counselor and Coordinator of Masters Level Internships to provide leadership for the internship program, supervise practicum and graduate trainees, and ensure high-quality clinical training within the university setting.

The role combines direct student counseling with program development, outreach, and collaboration with faculty and staff to support student success and professional growth of interns.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in psychology, counseling, or clinical social work; doctorate preferred.
• Experience supervising practicum students and counseling interns in a university setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Masters Level Internship program.
• Deliver individual and group counseling and coordinate crisis intervention as needed.
• Coordinate training, supervision, and evaluation of interns and trainees.
