Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Radnor, PA is seeking a Lead Counselor for the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This full-time role combines direct clinical care with program leadership, mentoring the treatment team and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care.

The position emphasizes clinical oversight, trauma-informed care, DSM-5-TR diagnoses, care coordination, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support adults with complex needs.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in behavioral health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in an Adult PHP, IOP, or similar behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral health treatment practices.
  • Experience with clinical documentation and multidisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide clinical guidance and support to a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and support to counselors within the Adult PHP program.
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and evaluate clients to determine the appropriate level of care.
  • Develop DSM-5-TR diagnoses and collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy as clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case consultations, and clinical discussions.
  • Maintain a reduced caseload while providing clinical support to promote continuity of care and program coverage.
  • Assist the Program Director with day-to-day clinical operations, workflow, and program needs.
  • Review clinical documentation and support compliance with organizational, clinical, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic treatment environment.
  • Support the development and implementation of program initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts and overall program development.

High Focus Centers is a leading provider of outpatient mental health and substance use treatment throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Through specialized programs, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adults and adolescents experiencing mental health and co-occurring disorders.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Counselor to support our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Radnor. This position combines direct clinical care with program leadership responsibilities, serving as a clinical resource and mentor to the treatment team while helping ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities
