Meta is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Lead Counsel on Meta's legal team, focused on monetization, user controls, and transparency for AI-driven advertising products.

In this role, you will provide strategic legal counsel to product, engineering, and business teams building and scaling Meta's monetization and user-controls surfaces, navigating privacy, consumer protection, and emerging AI regulation across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with bar admission in at least one US state.
• 5+ years of legal experience including law firm and/or in-house/government roles.
• Experience advising on digital advertising, AI-driven products, or tech platforms across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsabilités

• Provide proactive legal counsel to product, engineering, and monetization teams on AI-powered ads and revenue surfaces.
• Analyze monetization features and AI capabilities for legal risks in data protection, consumer protection, IP, and competition law.
• Develop and apply legal frameworks for monetization use cases including generative AI in advertising and user controls.
• Coordinate cross-functional legal strategy with privacy, regulatory, commercial, and litigation teams.
• Align with public policy and partnerships on regulatory issues affecting Meta's ads and AI monetization.
• Support compliance initiatives related to global AI regulations and advertising standards.
• Identify emerging legal risks and propose scalable mitigation approaches.
• Engage stakeholders to drive legally sound product decisions at scale.
• Develop and maintain legal guidance and documentation for monetization and AI product teams.
