Job summary

Stelic is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst with 7 years of experience to lead cost control and financial performance for a large-scale data center construction project in Greater Atlanta, GA.

You will partner with project management, field operations, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractors to manage costs, maintain forecast accuracy, and drive financial performance from project initiation through closeout.

Qualifications

• 7 years experience in project cost control within construction management or capital projects.
• Experience leading cost control on large-scale construction projects through full lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing subcontractor cost management, commitments, and procurement/buyout processes.
• Experience coordinating with field operations for productivity tracking and cost forecasting, with risk escalation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control project budgets and cost baselines aligned with scope, schedule, and procurement.
• Oversee subcontractor commitments, purchase orders, vendor expenditures, and cost exposures for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with field teams to monitor productivity, quantities, labor performance, and cost impacts.
• Prepare executive reports on variances, trends, and forecasts; ensure data accuracy.
• Develop EAC/ETC with risk analysis and scenario planning.
• Lead change management, pending changes, and scope growth in forecasts.
• Prepare cash flow projections and monitor funding usage, addressing gaps.
• Lead procurement and buyout activities; review pricing and bid packages.
• Mentor junior cost analysts and provide technical guidance.
• Present financial status updates to senior leadership and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement of cost control processes and tools.
