Job Summary

The Lead Cosmetologist will be responsible for training and education in their spa on spa services and protocols, ensuring standards are being adhered to and met.

Job Functions, Unique Duties and Responsibilities

• Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Must have received hairstylist/esthetics/nail/makeup training from an accredited/approved cosmetology school.
• Thoroughly educated and understand the anatomy of the body, skin, and hair, and the effects of the specific techniques utilized in order to determine whether such application is contraindicated and/or to recommend the most beneficial services to a given individual.
• Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and provide legible and articulate communication.
• Must be able to interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of guests and co-workers.
• Demonstrates commitment to providing the highest quality hair/nail/skincare therapy to those who seek their professional service.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to create, update, and edit training manuals, protocols, and tests.
