Job summary

International Paper in West Monroe, LA is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations in a corrugated packaging facility. You will oversee team members, equipment, quality, safety, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer requirements and plant goals.

The role focuses on safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of converting equipment, while guiding Lean/Six Sigma efforts and developing staff to achieve high first-pass yield

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in corrugated packaging, printing, paper products, converting operations, or related industries is preferred.
• Experience leading hourly production employees in a high-volume facility.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities across assigned shifts.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or machine assignments to optimize throughput.
• Manage startup, shutdown, and changeover activities of manufacturing equipment.
• Track KPIs including schedule attainment, waste, efficiency, downtime, and labor utilization.
• Collaborate with planning and scheduling teams to prioritize customer orders and production requirements.
