Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the Corrugated department’s daily operations, safety programs, personnel, and maintenance. You will guide production, materials, and equipment to meet efficiency targets and customer requirements, while coaching team members and evaluating direct reports.

Must have 7+ years in leadership within corrugated and converting packaging, with strong mechanical and process-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of leadership experience in corrugated and converting packaging operations.
• Demonstrated mechanical acumen.
• Ability to work in fast paced JIT manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in process management to ensure production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production activities for the Corrugated department, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Review customer requirements and implement improvements to increase satisfaction.
• Maintain safe, effective, and compliant production plans; oversee safety programs.
• Develop communication channels across stakeholder groups to build relationships and drive results.
• Manage P&L and manufacturing costs to improve plant profitability and reduce waste.
