Job summary

International Paper in Richmond, VA is seeking a Corrugator Supervisor to lead one shift of hourly employees, directing safety, quality, productivity and engagement to meet goals. You will supervise daily production of corrugated board, including training, planning and evaluating performance.

The role requires two years of supervisory experience, a HS diploma or GED, and preferably college courses with packaging industry background.

Qualifications

Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
College and/or related technical courses highly preferred.
Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry required.

Responsibilities

Direct supervisor to one assigned shift of hourly employees; supervise safety, quality, productivity and engagement to meet goals.
Supervise daily production of corrugated board; training, planning, assigning, directing work; evaluating performance; ensuring safety and quality.
Lead and motivate employees by example; maintain safe environment and quality product.
Communicate operational information at all levels (crew, supervisors, plant management, office, customers and vendors).
Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality and other programs.
