Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Corrections Officer 2 or equivalent.
• Four years in corrections security work in PA state or county facility.
• Must complete or have completed training program by the Department of Corrections.
• PA residency waiver note applies.
• Background check and CJIS requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee officers, assign duties, provide training, ensure policy compliance
• Monitor inmate housing units, address concerns, observe behavior, document daily activities
• Coordinate schedules, organize inmate movements, maintain records and reports
• Process transports, inspect vehicles and materials, support contraband searches
• Participate in investigations, address policy violations, assist during crises
