Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections to lead psychological services at SCI Pine Grove. You will guide staff, oversee treatment plans, ensure professional standards, and shape programs to support inmate well-being.

You will supervise staff, lead committees, coordinate counseling initiatives, and support research for psychological services, contributing to a stable, therapeutic correctional environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a psychologist and eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania or equivalent licensure with PA licensure to be obtained within one year of employment.
• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist or equivalent Federal job title.
• Experience in treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction.

Responsibilities

• Staff Oversight: Supervise psychological staff, review evaluations, and guide diagnostic tool use and counseling methods.
• Program Management: Develop policies, coordinate counseling programs, and assist with research for psychological services.
• Committee Leadership: Lead facility committees reviewing inmate needs, clinical concerns, and incidents.
• Clinical Standards: Set competencies, evaluate measures, and update medical profiles.
• Report Review: Assess interpretations and prepare diagnostic or progress reports for mental and behavioral management.
• Professional Consultation: Advise staff on treatment issues, support units, and review inmate plans.
