The role focuses on mid-level management of inventory and personnel, with in-office duties and a schedule of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Mon–Fri, weekends off. A strong background in food service supervision and compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of four years of high school.
• Three years of institutional food preparation or supervisory experience in a large-scale operation.
• Requires a current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or a Certified Food Protection Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into food production while maintaining health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Plans, schedules, and publishes menus for general and therapeutic diets.
• Directs and monitors staff in training individuals in custody in food preparation.
• Serves as Food Services Program Manager in absence.
• Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
