The role focuses on production, budgeting, and delivering high-quality meals in a care-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold Serv Safe Manager certification.
• Able to unload and stock groceries and lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Read, write and understand English; perform simple math calculations; record data.
• Attention to detail with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates cooperation and ability to supervise and instruct others.
• Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
• Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation with staff.
• Ability to communicate with residents, staff and family in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee dietary personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager on work assignments, performance evaluations, and coverage in manager's absence.
• Prepare and serve meals per residents' dietary needs; participate in production planning, purchasing, and equipment management.
• Assist in procurement and storage of food and equipment.
• Ensure meals are visually appealing, high quality and within budget.
