Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for Marquette County Jail in Marquette, MI.

We offer a competitive wage starting at $22.00 an hour for this location, plus Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications include leading, instructing, and assisting with meal preparations, reading recipes, lifting up to 50 pounds, and rotating weekend shifts. Clear facility clearance is required, and previous kitchen experience is a plus but training is available.

• Ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparations including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
