Job summary

Workstream is seeking a full-time kitchen staff member to uphold health and safety standards, handle safe food prep, and manage inventory across shifts. Attention to detail and cooking experience are required. Duties include verifying deliveries, labeling items, and preventing stockouts on breakfast, lunch, and banquet menus.

The position is on-site in Roslyn area with an 8-hour evening shift, Monday to Friday, and options for training and on-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• Must follow health and safety standards at all times.
• Experience with inventory management and food deliveries.
• Ability to label and store prepared foods properly.
• 1 year cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety standards are met by kitchen staff.
• Handle safe food prep and plating.
• Maintain overall inventory of all food items.
• Prevent stockouts of breakfast, dinner, and banquet items.
• Check and validate incoming deliveries and report discrepancies.
• Label and store opened foods properly.
