Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Lead Cook for the Berrien County Jail in St. Joseph, Michigan. The role leads the kitchen team, prepares and serves meals, and ensures high standards of cleanliness and food safety within a structured correctional setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to obtain facility clearance. Training is provided for the right attitude and work ethic.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and assist kitchen staff with daily tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and other daily duties.
