Beaumont Care Homes Limited is seeking a Cook to support operation of the home kitchen. You will prepare high quality, nutritious meals and adapt to residents' dietary needs.

In the absence of the Cook Manager you will lead kitchen staff and help deliver menus in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure food safety, hygiene and stock management, while contributing to a positive dining experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a kitchen environment
• Knowledge of HACCP or food safety practices
• Ability to cover for Cook Manager and lead a small kitchen team

Responsabilités

• Lead and direct a team of kitchen colleagues to deliver a first class catering service to residents
• Prepare menus in consultation with Cook Manager and Home Manager while considering nutritional needs
• Stock taking, rotation, and storage of stock when required; monitor and replenish kitchen supplies
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food preparation to meet safety standards
