Job summary

Trustwell Living at Rogue River Place is seeking a hands-on Lead Cook in Klamath Falls, Oregon to oversee daily kitchen operations and mentor a culinary team while delivering high-quality meals for residents and guests.

You'll support menu execution, manage food prep, inventory, and cost controls, and collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure an exceptional dining experience in a compassionate senior living environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a supervisory or lead cook role (senior living, healthcare, or hospitality preferred).
• Experience with meal prep for large groups.
• Ability to read and follow recipes; strong teamwork and communication.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day back-of-house operations ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals.
• Assist with menu planning, food prep, and special events.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control aligned with budget goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen that meets health codes.
