Requirements for the Lead Cook / Line Cook

• Previous cooking, food preparation, or kitchen experience preferred
• Leadership experience is preferred for the Lead Cook position
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, lifting, and carrying as needed
• ServSafe or food safety certification is a plus

Lead Cook / Line Cook Responsibilities

Lead Cook

• Coordinate daily kitchen operations and workflow
• Support, guide, and assist kitchen staff throughout the shift
• Assist with scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and food preparation planning
• Work closely with leadership to improve processes and maintain a positive team environment
• Participate in menu planning, special events, and buffet preparation

Line Cook

• Prepare and cook quality menu items according to recipes and standards
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, and serving
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
• Help ensure consistent food quality and presentation
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Both Positions

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
• Help maintain a stocked, organized, and efficient kitchen
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

Pay, Schedule, and Perks for the Lead Cook / Line Cook

• $16.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and position
• Full-time
• Tuesday-Saturday workweek
• No late-night shifts
