Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring for a cook Lead position with open availability for 1st or 2nd shift between 5:00 AM and 7:30 PM. You will oversee shift operations, prepare meals, and ensure compliance with recipes and safety standards.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience, the ability to supervise inmates when required, and strong attention to portion sizes and kitchen cleanliness. Competitive benefits and daily pay options are available.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience required.
• Experience in a cafeteria or large-volume facility preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures typical in cafeteria or food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure an efficient, well-running operation.
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items.
• Refer to Daily Prep List and complete opening/closing checklists.
• Report equipment or product issues to management.
• Maintain portion sizes, methods, and kitchen rules.
• Stock stations and supervise inmate workers as applicable.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Complete production paperwork and help with inventory control.
