Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Culinary art courses or equivalent experience required.
• Two years’ experience as a line broiler and fry cook in a high-volume setting.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Food handler’s card (HLTH) and any required licenses.
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) relevant to duties.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Broil steak chops, fish, and poultry per order.
• Toast bread and prepare waffles and pancakes using mixes or recipes.
• Mix ingredients for desserts such as puddings and gelatin.
• Prepare vegetables per recipes and assist with prep for all recipes.
• May inventory supplies and prepare requisitions as needed.
• May carve meat or prepare house specialties.
• Ensure guest and employee safety and security.
