Generations at Applewood in Matteson, IL, seeks an experienced Lead Cook for full-time hours in a healthcare facility. The role emphasizes sanitation, diet card interpretation, and menu planning with supervision from the Food Service Supervisor.

Candidates must have ServSafe and healthcare kitchen experience, be able to pass a cook's test, and work 8-hour shifts mornings or afternoons. On-demand pay is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare facility kitchen is required.
• Must have ServSafe Certification.
• Able to interpret Resident Diet Cards and follow dietary methods.

Responsibilities

• Process new diet cards and print daily.
• Print menu spreadsheets, work schedules and cleaning schedules.
• Check temperature logs and sanitation logs daily.
• Follow standardized recipes during food preparation.
• Inspect dietary trays for accuracy.
• Assist in special events and with deliveries as needed.
