Job summary

Legends at Long Beach Amphitheater seeks a Cook Lead to direct the cooks and oversee daily production, ensuring dishes meet Legends' recipes, portions, and sanitation standards. You will collaborate with Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to open/close and maintain quality.

The role requires strong knife skills, food safety certification, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, including extended hours for events, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead kitchen staff and maintain consistency with recipes and HACCP standards.
• Ability to follow Executive Chef/Sous Chef directions for opening/closing procedures.
• Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and safe operation of equipment.
• Professional attitude and reliable attendance for events and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Direct cooks in production of all menu items.
• Ensure portions, quality standards, and policies are followed.
• Maintain HACCP standards and sanitation throughout kitchen.
• Keep kitchen, walk-ins, and storage clean and organized.
• Assist in safety training and compliance with company guidelines.
