Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience in a related role.
• Experience as a cook or related role required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety regulations.
• Food safety certification required.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work activities to staff and supervises tasks.
• Trains and guides staff on food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Cooks and prepares food following recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, peeling.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams and uses various cooking methods.
• Maintains food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Maintains excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
• Produces and maintains production records.
