Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Lead Cook to join our culinary team. The role focuses on preparing meals, following established recipes, and upholding our scratch kitchen philosophy with fresh, healthy options and seasonally inspired menus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• ServeSafe Certification (or willing to obtain within the three-month introductory period).
• Experienced in all cooking stations and methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and follow established recipes.
• Support kitchen staff and ensure smooth restaurant operations during each meal service.
• Assist in training and development of line cooks and prep staff.
