Job summary

Hope Stay Senior Living is seeking an experienced Lead Cook to supervise dining services and help ensure nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. You will lead dietary staff, manage daily operations, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced senior living kitchen.

The ideal candidate has prior dietary services experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for resident care. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary services experience required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management of dining services operations.
• Support the supervision, training, and scheduling of dietary staff.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with menu execution, food preparation/quality, and resident satisfaction.
• Work with the culinary staff to prep & prepare meals.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering food and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment.
• Collaborate with leadership and care teams to support resident dietary needs.
• Help foster a positive, team-oriented culture within the department.
