Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment Corporation in California seeks a Lead Cook for a part-time role in a vibrant entertainment environment. The Lead Cook leads in the kitchen, mentors staff, and ensures food safety and sanitation while delivering quality meals to guests.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in operations; a culinary/food management degree is a plus. Applicants must be 18+ and able to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of operational experience.
• Culinary or Food Management degree is a plus.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Must become certified in the Lucky Strike Entertainment specified alcohol service program within 14 days and the food safety program within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares food based on customer count and prep sheets.
• Ensures orders are prepared and presented per operations manual.
• Mentors kitchen staff and trains on procedures, presentation, sanitation and cost controls.
• Maintains sanitation and organization of cooking areas, storage, refrigeration and serving areas.
• Calibrates cooking and refrigeration equipment weekly for quality and freshness.
• Receives food and supplies, checks temperatures and invoices; rotates perishable items.
