• Proven experience working as a cook in a professional setting.
• Familiar with commercial kitchen equipment and safety practices.
• Knowledge of grilling, baking, boiling, and other cooking methods.
• Adherence to sanitation procedures and HACCP guidelines.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Prepare, portion, cook food items for various meal periods or special events.
• Prepare and cook to order or items that require short preparation time.
• Ability to follow basic recipes and production information.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Follow all company HACCP and safety policies.
