Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated kitchen cook for the Orlando area. The role involves planning, preparing, cooking, and serving nutritious meals for shelter clients, with duties including kitchen hygiene, inventory tracking, and supervising fellow kitchen staff.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and at least three years of experience cooking for large groups; a Food Handler's certification is preferred. Weekend availability and valid driving license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assigns, instructs, and monitors work of other cooks and food service workers; ensures meals and snacks are prepared as planned.
• Cleans, cooks, and prepares a variety of foods and beverages utilizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies in accordance with acceptable and economical cooking methods.
• Ensures that enough food is prepared based on the number of people to be served and that food is prepared and served in a timely manner as scheduled.

Job Details: Job Location: FLA-Orlando Area Command - Orlando, FL 32804, Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 Hourly, Job Category: Food Service, Schedule/Hours: Five days a week. Weekend availability needed. 9AM to 5PM. Works from both the Men's Shelter and Women's Shelter

This Position Is Responsible For

Plans, prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances; maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner. Assigns, instructs and monitors work of other cooks and food service workers.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to properly clean kitchen appliances and utensils.
• Ability to unload and put away food.

What We Are Looking For In You: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent, and Three years experience cooking food for large groups with some experience coordinating the work of other kitchen staff, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
