Job summary

Tigg's Canteen Services is hiring a permanent part-time Lead Cook for the Iosco County Jail in Tawas City, MI. Pay starts at $18.00 for this location, with benefits including 401K and Paid Time Off. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays and shifts from 9:00am to 6:00pm is required.

Prior food service experience is a plus, and training can be provided. This role requires the ability to lead, read recipes, and manage meal preparations in a structured correctional setting, with the physical ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts - days and hours (between 9:00am - 6:00pm).
• Clearance approval into the facility.
