Job summary

Qualifications

Starting pay for this position is $18.07/hour. Plus $1.00 for Lead. This is an Hourly position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Prepares and presents high-quality food within specified time frame for patient and retail services. Properly follows safe food handling procedures. Takes customers' orders and prepares the order according to recipe, keeping in mind additional customer specifications or dietary needs. Supervises all aspects of Food & Nutrition Services.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years healthcare food production experience
  • Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification (within 1 year of hire)
  • Basic math skills, basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Culinary or Associates Degree
  • 2 years healthcare food production with lead experience
  • Certified Dietary Manager Certification (or within 18 months of hire)
