Job summary

Surmasis is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up and operate complex machinery in the Mixing, Coating, and Converting areas. You will inspect materials, maintain paperwork, and uphold high standards of quality and safety.

You will work with a variety of equipment, perform general maintenance, and ensure accurate labeling and timely completion of tasks in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with complex machinery.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reading drawings and data.
• Ability to communicate in English: reading, writing and speaking.
• Must pass Operator Assessment (FORM 2660).
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, clean and maintain mixing, coating, and converting equipment.
• Operate listed equipment per management instructions and team needs.
• Maintain GMP and comply with FDA guidelines during operations.
• Handle chemicals safely and verify proper labeling and condition of materials.
• Check job processes, setups and drawings before production runs.
