Job summary

Surmasis is seeking an operator to set up and run complex machinery in Mixing, Coating, and Converting. You will inspect materials, ensure labeling accuracy, and complete required paperwork while maintaining GMP standards and safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities include operating multiple machines, following drawings, and coordinating with other departments to maintain quality and throughput. 100% attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with materials like adhesives, gels, solvents, chemicals.
• Able to read and interpret assembly drawings and build product accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, clean and maintain mixing, coating, and converting equipment.
• Operate faustel coater, UV Cure line, Delta Modtech Converter/Packager, and mixing equipment.
• Maintain 100% GMP and FDA compliance during operations.
• Handle chemicals safely per SDSs.
• Verify labeling and condition of chemicals and materials.
• Verify that processes, setups, and drawings are correct before production.
• Set up complex machines per drawings within setup times.
• Inspect quality of materials and in-process work against batch records.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues.
• Process paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain 5S and clean procedures.
• Communicate with other departments as required.
• Ensure regular attendance and reliability.
• Other duties as required.
