Job summary

Surmodics is seeking a manufacturing-focused technician to produce and test products per SOPs within a GMP environment. You will train new hires and assist with scheduling, cycle counts, and requisitions to support coating services and quality improvements.

Ideal candidates bring an associate degree in a lab field or 5+ years production experience, with strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or biology or 5+ years of production experience.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient computer skills and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture & test product per SOP and under supervision of engineer or production planner.
• Prepare and submit samples to QC.
• Maintain GMP compliance in coatings manufacturing.
• Train new hires and supervise production personnel.
