Energy Jobline ZR in Greater Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Controls Technician for the 2nd shift (2-10:30pm ET) in a FDA-regulated processing/packaging facility. You will lead equipment controls including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs and be the go-to expert for instrumentation and process control.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Industrial Technology or Engineering Technology.
• 2–3 years of control system experience with Allen Bradley PLC-based controls.
• Basic AutoCAD experience for control layouts and schematics.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SME on PLC, VFD, and HMI controls across manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose Allen Bradley PLCs using ladder logic.
• Develop PLC ladder code changes using RSLogix.
• Review and update electrical schematics and layout drawings in AutoCAD.
• Support continuous improvement and documentation control activities.
