Job Opportunity: Lead Controls Service Engineer

ISG is seeking Lead Controls Service Engineers near Livonia, MI, for direct hire positions with a competitive salary, field commissions, and excellent benefits.

Position Overview: A local Michigan company is looking to expand its team with experienced engineers for long-term projects. These roles are ideal for Project Managers with automotive project experience seeking non-automotive work with growth opportunities.

Compensation: Salaries are based on experience and education, with gross income ranging from $120k to $150k annually, including base salary and sales incentives. All qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant Project Management or Field Service experience, preferably with non-automotive safety projects.
• Strong knowledge of controls engineering, PLC programming, and controls design.
• Experience with Robot or CNC programming, electronic diagnosis, repair, or AutoCAD is a plus but not required.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, change orders, and project timelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% for projects, some lasting up to 2 weeks.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including background, drug screening, and references.
