Job summary

HireNow Staffing seeks a Controls Engineering Supervisor in Lancaster, Ohio, to lead a team of controls engineers and deliver robust automation solutions. The role focuses on directing projects from planning to implementation and optimizing PLC/SCADA/HMI systems to improve manufacturing performance.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of controls experience, 2+ years of leadership, and strong PLC programming skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of controls engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Controls Engineers.
• Manage controls engineering projects from planning through implementation.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and resources.
• Direct the design, installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of industrial control systems.
• Integrate and optimize PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical controls and system integration issues.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams to support plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and company procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on equipment upgrades and capital projects.
